The store was designed with only function in mind, using metal and glass as the main design elements. The hardest part of this project was time. The authorities took over the old store location, so we only had 24 days to build and open the new store. The store had to open on the 25th day. The first week was the hardest because the footing and column had to be put up quickly to build the base structure. During the second week, ducting, electrical work, and the installation of a false ceiling were all done at full speed. At the same time, work on the outside of the building continued. Flooring was the main focus of the third week. In the last stage, which was only three days before the store opened, all of the following were happening at the same time: putting together the racks, finishing the electrical work, setting up the air conditioning, putting up signs, and putting on the finishing touches. Even though there was a lot of stress, the store opened on the 25th day as planned. The main cash counter didn't get there for a week because it was raining heavily, which made transportation slow. The project was very hard overall, not just because of the short time frame but also because it rained all the time while it was being done.
