Project Overview – Raw Liquor Heaven Vijayawada
RAW LIQUOR HOUSE is one of the premium shops approved by the Andhra
Pradesh government. The store consists of 2700 sq.ft. on the ground floor and
7300 sq.ft. on the first floor with a connecting internal staircase.
Excise Policy:
The Andhra Pradesh excise policy is one of the best policies to promote liquor as
a lifestyle store concept. It allows art exhibitions, liquor chocolates, cigars,
snacks sales, and liquor tasting rooms.
Design:
By making the best use of the excise policy and lifestyle store concept, we
planned to give the store a monumental look. We added an elevator for easy
access for everyone. The ground floor accommodates premium display racks, an
exclusive beer shelf, and a cash counter. Taking advantage of the building’s side
glass architecture, we designed a double-side open shelf with artwork. On the
first floor, keeping the same monumental scale, we designed the space as a
liquor museum with dedicated zones for all brand displays, billing counters,
“World of Beer,” and cigar display with a tasting room.
We completely avoided common light fixtures and created a new custom lighting
design.
